Liked it, Did it, Pinned #4

Okay, so it's Thursday and we're back for the Pinterest inspired Linky party!!  This week we have an awesome co-host and I am so excited about it!! Cami from All things Lovely and I have teamed up to bring you one big Pinterest party!!  Great idea, right?  We thought so.  You can go show her some love, and if you link up here or there, it all shows up in the same place!  We're making things easier on you.  You're welcome. :)

I can't wait to see what ya'll did!  I made (and thoroughly enjoyed) these...

Mine didn't look a thing like this picture.  As a matter of fact, I may or may not have remembered to add the baking powder.  And baking soda.  But I made sure the cream cheese with powdered sugar filling got in there!!  And they still tasted delicious. {check out Annies-eats.com for lots of great recipes!}

Here are the features from last week:
Braided Headbands from Natalie at NS Pottery

Whiteney from Davenport Developments shared this cute outfit & a yummy pie! Fashion and food? Yes, please!

And lastly, but most certainly not least, is my co-host, Cami from All Things Lovely!  She put together some really cute outfits inspired from Pinterest.

Okay, you're turn!! Whatcha got?

Here are some guidelines ....

1.) Make sure you know where the picture for inspiration is coming from. It is someone's work and you should ask permission to use it in the blog post and give credit where it is due!
2.) Link the post URL, not your blog's.
3.) Add the linky button somewhere in the blog post and in your linky bar.  Parties are more fun with more people!
4.) No link and leaves!  Check out at least two other posts that catch your eye and share some comment love!
5.) I would love if you were following me!  (totally don't have to, but I love new friends!)

Liked it, Did it, Pinned #3

Hello all!

I am feeling a little better about this party because all over bloggy land I am seeing people do what they pin!  Now just to get them to link them up!  I also found a party over at Cami's blog, All Things Lovely, and it is pretty much the same thing.  So her and I might be hosting together next week!  No different for you all, just link up where you normally would and it will go to both blogs=more traffic for you=more reasons to link up! Voila!

So my mom, being the awesomest mom that there is, saw my tweet (yes, she's awesome and she's on twitter) that people weren't linking up to my little party.  And like all moms do, she felt bad for her little baby, no one was coming to her party!! :(  So she went out and did something she pinned and sent it to me!  Gosh, I love my mom.  Now my party is awesome, because my mom's here.  That's how it works right?

Here is her creation:
She did that.  Like, with her own handwriting.  That artistic ability must skip generations, because I most certainly couldn't do that.  And I'm totally pinning it.

There were 19 link ups last week!  Here are the top 3 hits from last week.

First we have some beautiful apothecary jars from Wayward Girls Crafts.

Junk in the Trunk Trio's Book Page Pumpkin

And Fabulously Flawed super fabulous feather extension.
How cute is she? Chatting on the phone??
Incase you're wondering, my Pinterest inspired project was posted yesterday.  And yes, it was a hairstyle.  I might need to branch out a bit...

Now last week I forgot to put up the button to have on your posts or linky pages.  Some of you super awesome people put my button on the post to say you were linking and I would like to say thanks!  If you didn't, shame on you.  Totally kidding!  But just incase this is your first time around these parts, here are my 'rules.'

Liked it, Pinned it, Did it #2

Last week a fabulous 12 links were posted in my little Pinterest party.  I was kinda thinkin' that this party would either be a hit, because everyone loves Pinterest and would love to show off all their Pinterest projects.  Or it would be a complete dud because people pin like crazy and never leave the couch.  I am gonna still hope for the former and keep this party going!

So week two of Liked it, Pinned it, Did it!  Anyone complete a Pinterest Project recently?  It could be a recipe, outfit, hairstyle, DIY, craft, whatever!  As long as you saw the inspiration on Pinterest and made the project from it.

Here are some popular links from last week:

Pillow case shirt tutorial by Wayward Girls Crafts

Super cute layered ruffled skirt by Steph at Crafting in the Rain

And Gina over at Acute Designs trades off each week w/ a bloggy friend completing projects from Pinterest (I expect a link every week!), and she created these Dry Erase Boards!

You three can grab a "I've been featured button" to proudly display!!

Now I want to see yours!  Oh and I would love it if you could spread the word.  Parties are more fun with more people, aren't they?  Here are the general giudelines (we won't call them rules) for the party:

1.) Make sure you know where the picture for inspiration is coming from. It is someone's work and you should ask permission to use it in the blog post and give credit where it is due!
2.) Link the post URL, not your blog's.
3.) Add the linky button somewhere in the blog post and in your linky bar.  Parties are more fun with more people!
4.) No link and leaves!  Check out at least two other posts that catch your eye and share some comment love!
5.) I would love if you were following me!  (totally don't have to, but I love new friends!)

It's looking like Fall in France!!

First of all, can I just say that I love you all?!?  I know I have read this on blogs before, but you all seriously made my day!  I was having a rough day and I just happened to write it all out there for the world to see and guess what?  The world was nice!  You all were so encouraging, it really lifted my spirits.  I am feeling a ton better and ready to conquer France!  Well, let's just start with the language...

The weather here has actually been rather beautiful.  Today was the first day it was actually a tad bit chilly.  So I took advatage of it and rocked my new mustard yellow sweater I got from Target before I left.  With my new boots!  Of course it got warm in the afternoon, but it was so beautiful.

Thanks hubby for taking these two pictures.  The rest are from my little man photographer.  He's becoming a pro.
See, he's got some cool angles and everything!
my new boots!
"mom, move closer, I need to get a picture of your necklace."  Thanks Tae!

I don't know if you can really see, but isn't the view beautiful?  I can't wait to show you more of France, it is such a beautiful country.

Oh and I have a little announcement!!  I am going to be hosting a Pinterest Party tomorrow!!  It seems like so many people (read: me) pin a bazillion things on Pinterest, and how many do we actually do??  I don't know if I have done any.  So sad.  So this party is to get our booties in gear!  It can be fashion, hair, crafts, DIY project, photography, recipes, you name it!!  So if you haven't done anything, get on it!  Linking up tomorrow!  Here's the button for the post:

I hope to see a lot of you link up!  It is a variety, so you have to have something to link!
