Features from our Last Linky!

Happy Monday all!  I hope you aren't surprised to not find a linky party here.  I went back and forth and decided against doing my projects in progress linky.  I orginally thought of the idea so people could share projects they were working on and get advice or thoughts on what to do with something.  I thought this was brilliant.  Well, as it turns out, I am the only blogger that needs help finishing things!  Not so brilliant.  Note to self.

I do want to say thank you so much for all those who were so supportive.  It was awesome to see the link ups.  So I would still love to feature the top two from last week.  First we have the wonderful Andrea from Charcoal and Crayons.  She linked up her beautiful DIY starfish frame.  Seriously, a personal favorite!

You can also check out The Pondering Pony for this beautiful bed redo.  Isn't it lovely?  I just want to crawl in, shut out my kids, black out the room and sleep.  For days I think.  Just kidding, I love my kids, promise!!  But her puppy seems to like it!

So thank you again, everyone for linking up!  I am in the process of starting a new linky.  I had it in my mind and then forgot, so I am waiting for it to come back to me. We will see if that ever happens!

Have a great day!

Projects in Progress Linky Party #6!

Happy Easter Monday everyone!
I don't know if that is a real thing or not, but it is a holiday here.  But then again, the French never work...
So here are some beauties from last week that got the most views.
Check out this beautiful Easter table over at Indie Inventions.  What a beautiful job she did!

And Lacey over at Girls Gone Bloggin' redid her kitchen and it looks beautiful!  You have to go check out the before.  They did a lot of work and it looks fabulous!

So I need your opinions ya'll.  And no, I'm not from Texas.  Anyway, that is besides the point.  So what do you think of my little linky party.  I have been thinking about it and as much as I love looking at all your lovely projects, there are a billion and one linky parties out there.  Do we really need another one?  I would rather come up with something unique that isn't really out there yet, but I can't come up with anything... So I would love your opinions.  Honest only, people!  I'm a big girl, I can take it!

Okay, now on to the party!  What you have been creating this week?  Link up those projects ladies!  Here is how to 'play.'
1.) I would love it if you were a follower of Ma Nouvelle Mode. If you already are, awesome! If not, make sure you drop me a note so I can say hi!
2.) Link up your blog post, not your blog so we can go directly to the post.
3.) Make sure you check out at least a few other blogs and show some comment love. The more the merrier!!
4.) Grab my "Projects in Progress!" button and post it on your blog, linky page, or sidebar so others can join along!

Projects in Progress Linky Party #4

Happy Monday Everyone!

I haven't had internet this weekend, so this Linky Party is brought to you by Mc Donald's and their free WIFI!  We had 14 link ups last week, whooo hooo! Thanks ladies for linking along!  I originally intended for this to be a linky where people linked up projects they were working on, but I think it is evolving into projects completed as well, and sharin the process.  And I love it!

So I have a few features today!  Ashley from Eisy Morgan linked up this super cute hair clip she made in just 5 steps!!  It is so beautiful, and perfect for anyone gearing up for wedding season (seems like that is what the summer is!).  Thanks Ashley!

Then we have Kim from Too Much Time on my Hands who linked up a lamp redo for her sons vintage airplane themed bedroom.  I am always loving new ideas for boys themes, and this one does not disappoint!  Check it out.

I love it!  Thanks Kim!

You guys can grab a featured button!

Okay now for this week.  I have a question for all you wonderfully creative people out there.  I have a necklace that broke recently and I just can't bring myself to throw it away.

Sorry for the bad picture, but like I said, no internet and I forgot to take a pic before I left.  Anyway, it is beyond repair.  Suggestions anyone?  I want to make something out of it!  I would love to hear all your ideas!

Now on to the party!!

Projects in Progress! Linky party #1

As most of you know, or can see, my blog is relatively new.  I am so glad I started it because I have been blown away with the amount of inspiration out there from so many talented ladies.  As much as I love linky parties and getting to know new bloggers (or new to me) I don't really care for the "I'll follow you if you follow me" type of deal.

So I was thinking through what kinda linky party I could host and I asked my lovely (but not so creative) husband for his opinion.  He said 'I don't know, like project Monday?'  Not the most mind blowing, but it got me thinking.  And anyone who knows me can attest, it can be a dangerous thing!  I then came up with "Projects in Progress!"

I am hosting a linky party for all bloggers out there.  DIY, fashion, house decor, food, you name it!  Here is how it will work.  Every Monday morning I will post the linky up early.  If you have a project that you are currently working on and would like some feedback, write a post about it and link it up here.  Then after you have linked, check out a few of the others and kindly offer your opinion on maybe how they could complete the project.  Here are some examples:

How do you think this outfit looks best?  Any opinions?  I put it on the other day, and with the options couldn't decide.  I do know that I think the shoes look awful.  Good thing I had some pics, I thought they looked good before this!

Or a DIY/crafty project:

What should I do with this 'S'?  I decopauged it with an old book and can't decide where to go from here. What do ya think?

Or recipes?

I have chicken, mushrooms, and potatoes.  Suggestions?
(I just made that up, I never have mushrooms)

Or anything else you can think of or would like advice on.  There is so much inspiration out there and so many talented people it might just get you out of a rut, or help you put the finishing touches on a project, or just inspire your own awesome idea! If you are stuck on a project, maybe someone has been stuck before too and has a solution to share.  Let's share the creativity!!

Here are some ground rules:
1.)  Make sure you are a follower of Ma Nouvelle Mode.  If you already are, awesome!  If not, make sure you drop me a note so I can say hi!
2.)  Link up your blog post, not your blog so we can go directly to the post.
3.)  Make sure you check out at least a few other blogs to see if you can offer any suggestions.  The more the merrier!!
4.)  Grab my "Projects in Progress!" button and post it on your blog, linky page, or sidebar so other can join along!

So link up! I can't wait to see all the awesome Projects in Progress out there!

I will leave the linky open throughout the week so we all can add and share.  If you finish a project, get some help or advice you just love, or have some you want to share, E-MAIL ME!  I will feature your project on the next linky party.
