I don't know if you all know, but last week I went to Paris for a few days. I love Paris. Such a beautiful city. My most recent Paris experience was not a good one which is so unfortunate for such a place. I will tell you more about it in another post, but definitely nothing to envy over. I did feel a little snobby about having a bad time in one of the most romantic places in the world...
So I took the weekend off. I told my husband that I am checked out. I will check back in Monday morning when it is time to get up and get Tae to school, but this weekend, momma's not home.
I want to give myself a much needed break. To do the fun stuff I want to do. Like play dress up so I feel pretty and then take some pictures. You know, the usual.I actually love this outfit. However, I would have liked to wear it with a cute pair of booties. Unfortunately, this big-footed girl lives in a small-footed world and has to wait for America to buy shoes. Not too good for me, great for my budget.

I know I have a lot of mommas who read this blog, what's the verdict? Do you ever take some mom time to do some stuff just for you? Even if you're single or just don't have kids, do you take some time for yourself? Or maybe we have some exceptionally super women who just don't need it.
Not me. I tell my husband all the time, 'look, I'm not super woman. You can pull your weight.' {which I am happy to say, he most certainly does} Just keeping it real, ladies! Momma needs help from time to time!
I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

love that skirt. And the shirt. Actually just the outfit in general.
hope your break is refreshing and God blesses you greatly! EVERY mom needs that! I remember my mom doing that often when I was growing up and we had a lot of fun with my dad or with whomever was watching us. Get some rejuvenation! xoxo
Every mom needs some down time! We totally deserve it. Even though the whole time we are thinking of our kids. :) Hope your time away is great! Im getting a night away tomorrow.. woot woot!
I'm glad you got some time for yourself. I love the blouse you're wearing. I hear polka dots are very popular right now - which you already knew, I'm sure.
Yes! I happened on your blog from WIWW at pleated Poppy, and I completely identify. Sometimes, you just need to get dressed and remember who you are aside from being super mama! And, I think your outfit is adorable, you pictures are beautiful!
Visiting from WIWW at pleated poppy. I love the polka shirt! Your pictures are great!
I don't usually have ME time but it's not cuz I don't want or need it.
so cute and classy! Love that green polka dot shirt! the outfit looks great with those boots but i can see that they would be super cute with booties too!

so so cute.. love your top & hot red lips.. go girl!!! i did my FIRST EVER outfit post at linkyhere.com this week --- i need some modeling tips, for sure! HAHA!! always love your posts.
You look gorgeous. LOVE your hair.
Love the outfit, super cute and he colours are great. I took some mama time last week and went for a massage. It was a nice indulgent treat, even if it got ruined quickly by having to take my daughter to the hospital due to an allergic reaction. But I still did get a chance to pamper me. :)
i NEED me time now and again... being a mummy is so demanding, and as much as i wouldnt swap for the world, it can be hard. I like taking time to look nice, sometimes i simply dont have time.
You look stunning (as always) i reckon the red lip is your trademark lol :D
I definitely need "me" time, rarely get it, and feel guilty about it when I do. However, that guilt soon dissipates as I relax and enjoy myself and then return home a happier mom. Why is it so hard for me then to schedule the next "me" time? It's a constant psyche struggle (seems men don't have this same internal struggle).
You totally deserve a break because you are a super woman! You look gorgeous and your boots are very pretty!
Natalia!
You are one beautiful woman!
I love the red lips with the green polka dot top!
So dramatic and chic...
Seriously, girl. This is a great outfit.
And, yes, timeout for mama is essential (rare, but essential).
