Here I am, retired, and I question how people find the time to blog/Facebook/clean house/have a life/etc. I'm not doing a good job of balancing all of it. I wish you luck, and I hope you'll come back and share what works with the rest of us.Grammy Goodwillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06692427011915245206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6216454073645052783.post-12500406614360624892011-07-13T07:23:42.567-07:002011-07-13T07:23:42.567-07:00Well it looks like you have already gotten loads o...Well it looks like you have already gotten loads of good advice. I like what Megan said about focusing on your blog, because it is more of an outlet, and we are reading your blog because we love it, we don't care if you return comments right away. Taking time away from blogging and living life is the best inspiration. Enjoy what you are doing and spending time with family and friends. When you have some quiet time, write, but don't worry about making an awesome post if you don't have time. Start posts, save them and finish up another day. I am heading back home in a couple of weeks and know that life is going to get in the way far more than it does here, but I plan to just take lots of photos and lots of notes and get to blogging when I can.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11314717655168154994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6216454073645052783.post-91284085702802095882011-07-13T06:50:39.871-07:002011-07-13T06:50:39.871-07:00The best thing is to learn to embrace life and rel...The best thing is to learn to embrace life and relax where you are at the moment. Try not to feel guilty about the things you are not getting done, knowing you will get to them "some time." My mom always told me, "This too shall pass" - before you know it, those adorable little boys will be all grown up.Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06302947372326181791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6216454073645052783.post-25546928646478462392011-07-13T06:47:12.002-07:002011-07-13T06:47:12.002-07:00I usually take friday and write all my post for th...I usually take friday and write all my post for the week. that way if little man decides to fuss do to teething or my other two boys just need mommy I already have posts. I don't always stick with them but they are there if I need them. Plus girl family comes first in my way of thinking so I wouldn't feel guilty if I were you just enjoy your boys and family. I would suggest carving a certain amount of time out of each day (30 minutes in the morning and evening, for example), and use it to work on your blog, whether it be posts or other social media. Understand that it's ok if you don't blog; blogging should not take over your life. I find moments/times of living ONLY in the real world to be very refreshing!

I hope you find the answers you've been seeking hun!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03626561062815521771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6216454073645052783.post-66917977484279224752011-07-12T21:37:50.693-07:002011-07-12T21:37:50.693-07:00well, obviously im no mom...but before i moved to ...well, obviously im no mom...but before i moved to norway, i had alot going on in my life that i could feel your pain...

for me what would work best is to make 1 hour for yourself a day to only blog or do what YOU enjoy. nobody else. yes, you're a mom, but that is not selfish to do that. i never saw my mom do it when i was young, and i look back at her now and her life was our life...and while that is how it should be to a degree, just because a person has a family, they should still channel their passions in some form.

is there a time before the kids wake up or after they go to bed that you can slot yourself aside one hour just to blog or write? i wouldnt worry about necessarily READING blogs, id worry about keeping up with yours. i only say that because your emotions are not really going to get outleted (is that a word?! LOL) by reading others, but more so by keeping up with yours. we'll all still be here when you have more time...that i can promise! and people understand what you're going through, so if we leave comments on your blog and you don't immediately come back to comment on ours, no one is going to care ;-) we read your blog because we care about your life and your well-being...

i think the best thing to do is possibly just make notes of your summer in a notebook...and when you DO find the free time, you will already have posts at hand that you can just write about. when you're laying at the beach and watching your kids, write some ideas down and expand on them. then you have posts kind of written at the same time.

anyways, i ramble. email me if you need clarification on what i just rambled about LOL!!!!!!! <3Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6216454073645052783.post-63386869553514326912011-07-12T21:23:53.452-07:002011-07-12T21:23:53.452-07:00There's only so many hours in a day so:

Make it at the start of the day or at the end of the day or whenever you have a quiet moment. I usually blog or tweet over a meal like breakfast or just before I go to bed.

At the same time, don't sweat it if you cannot blog or tweet as regularly as some. Offline life is underrated these days and I have really been focusing on life beyond the 4 walls of my room and more importantly, beyond my keyboard.

I do appreciate you commenting on the fact that non-mums are also busy.
