Hear is how I solve this problem....I make my warm weather clothes work for cold weather. Here is one example of how I do this.
Pretty self explanatory, yes? Summer dress + tights + cardigan + scarf + boots= appropriate for winter. All I would need is an incredibly warm coat for when I am outside (if I lived in Indiana still) and this would totally work even in the bitter cold.
Please excuse my ridiculous poses, I was at a 5 year old birthday party and I was feeling a little bit silly.
Dress and Scarf: Anthropologie, Cardigan: Macys, Tights: No idea, Boots: Steve Madden, Headband: H&M
So do you have any secrets for making your clothes work all year long? Do you love winter? Our differences are what make the world go 'round so share your thoughts! xoxo- Christie

Same here! I own like a million scarfs, and a million pairs of tights. That's as "winter" as I get as well
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I, for one, love those ridiculous poses you've got going on!
ReplyDeleteAnd I WISH I lived somewhere with super mild winters! I'm so sick of crappy cold.
I LOOOOOOVE that outfit!
ReplyDeleteNow, seriously, what's the weather like in November??? We're pondering Nov for a Disney trip.
Great outfit!!! I love the boots with the dress! I'm trying to figure out a way to make that work on my figure! I'm in Texas, so we don't really have much of a winter. I just add a scarf + sweater and that makes it work!
ReplyDeleteSuper adorable! We usually get the full effect of winter here in Chicago so I don't have your problem! (Although, it was 80 degrees here today! CRAZY!) Cute cute cute!
ReplyDeletegreat outfit! i love the colors and especially the dress!
ReplyDeletei do love the winter but i like it being a short one, just enough to get over missing the cold and snow and being able to wear boots.
I adore the dress!
ReplyDeleteI do love winter and the weather isn't extremely cold but love layering summer dresses!
